shortness of breath and faintness - could it be an allergic reaction to antibiotics?

i am on amoxicillin.

i was feeling short of breath before but im on day 2 and feel more sob and like im about to faint.
..im worried it could be a form of anaphylactic shock even though I've taken amoxicillin in the past without problems.

my breathing rate has gone from 13 resting bpm to 24 resting breaths per minute.

i was in the shower and the hot water made me feel like passing out! it's too late to see a out of hours doctor what should i do?

If you were going to have a reaction it would be immediate not 2 days later

Just for your info the out of hours docs are available 24x7 as well

Are you around other people? If so, let them know you are feeling unwell, that way they can keep an eye on you. Tell yourself, if something happens, the people around you will look after you. I'm sure you will be fine, but try to let go of the need to watch yourself constantly. There is no point worrying about how you feel. Even if something did happen, worrying about it isn't going to help.
