can't taste anything now

after going out to the local bar with some friends.
i had a few drinks last night and all day today i can't
taste anything i eat !!!! have i just did something to my
taste buds or what? has anyone ever had this happen to
them after drinking?please let me know if you have

well cant say about drinking and not tasting because i cant drink..but have to tell you its been awhile since i tasted anything.I don't know why but it happens.. Could be cold,allergies, coated tongue.. sinus..etc.. and just realizing or dwelling on it makes it worse. sometimes its like the first time i have ever tasted anything.. Just bizarre but happens.. I think it was the intial drink that numbed your taste buds temporairaly but could be the above to..Doesn't sound too serious..if it bothers you talk to your doctor about it but I really feel you maybe just dwelling on it.I get a tingling in my tongue and lips alot..and can't figure out why then i realise that i lick my lips alot and im dwelling a a temporary feeling when i drank a soda it made my tongue tingle. so hope this helps..Michael
