I am having the most vivid dreams at the moment and waking exhausted so I can sympathise with you. Most seem to involve trying to escape (maybe its escape from the panic?).

Ellen could be right, if you have come off meds it could be a reaction or that you need to be on them longer. Sometimes meds need to be taken for longer. I remember being told in the past that with anti depressants for example you should take them for a few months after you feel better then you are less likely to relapse.

I have suffered with depression for years, and I know that one of the worst parts is that you are not able to hope of getting better because you are so depressed! But hang in there. Keep taking steps to do what you can, otherwise your world becomes a darker place. I give myself permission to do what I really want, and do what I can, not giving myself a hard time that I don't manage the same as other people. We are all different. Recognise your achievements to yourself.

I've put on weight over the past few months too! I was more concerned with my mental and emotional health and could not think of my diet at the same time. I am not happy with my weight, but will work on that when I'm able. Also exercise has been more difficult because making myself do things is hard. But I do know that I always feel better afterwards, and sleep better too. It also helps to burn off the adrenaline of anxiety.

Sorry this reply got a bit long, but I wanted to let you know you're not alone. :)

Lisa.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
