Hello there. I have just joined the site as I am in a pretty desperate state. I suffer terribly with anxiety. Always predicting the worst and allowing these thoughts to totally dominate my life. After having a read of the site I am feeling relieved to know that I am not the only person who behaves in this manner but also very desperate to move forward especially as I start a new job on Monday.

Hi Caroline,

Welcome to NMP.....as you are discovering it is a great place to be....and no you are not on your own, a lot of poeople here will most definately relate to you and where you are at.

I've been using this for around 5 weeks and have found the help, advice and support invaluable.

Monday sounds like it will be a big day for you, please come in and talk about it. The chat rooms are a good place to get stuff off your chest but also have a little diversion.

Take care

Iain
