I started practicing yoga about 8 months ago and my friends all say it has really calmed me down. Given that the biggest problem my anxiety has caused has been "fighting" with my friends - ie asking them over and over if they're mad at me until they actually GET mad at me for continually asking - this is a ringing endorsement. They say things like "I'm sooo glad you found yoga!" and "You are so much more calm!" I still have my shakies and panicky moments - boy do i - but they are so much more manageable now. Anyone else do yoga?

Yes I do!!

I've been a bit lax lately but totally agree with how it chills you out!!!

Love Piglet xx

"Supposing a tree fell down, Pooh, when we were underneath it?" said Piglet.
"Supposing it didn't," said Pooh after careful thought.

but will keep at it as everyone talks so positively of it!!!

I'm addicted. I go like 6 times a week. :)

Hayles, I giggled the first few time I went, too. I felt so silly chanting "om" and stuff. But I really love it. It probably isn't for everyone, but I'm glad you're going to stick with it long enough to know if it helps you! Enjoy!

I started Yoga when i was admitted into a psychiatric hospital and found it really helpful. I stretched more muscles than i care to remember and its a great way to relax and let go.
