Hi, I'm a 32 year old female from Lockerbie in Dumfries & Galloway. I've suffered from anxiety since my teens (mainly social anxiety, but also mild OCD and selective eating disorder). After a decade of trying various medications, CBT, counselling and other therapies I thought I finally had my anxiety under control (or manageable anyway), but recently I have found it rearing its ugly head again! :weep:
2013 has been without doubt the most stressful time of life due to marriage breakdown and separation from my husband and other work, financial and health issues. My anxiety is back with a vengeance - I have panic attacks at the drop of a hat and my stomach is constantly churning. I've realised I need some help again and to talk to other people who are in the same boat and can understand what it's like - so here I am!
I'm happy to chat to anybody who can relate, but I'd especially like to meet others in my local area for mutual support. :)
