Pain under left rib

I'm having pain every now and again under my left rib, it's kind of a shooting and pulsating pain! Could this be caused my anxiety or is it something else? Has anyone else experienced this?

i do. In fact is is one of two of my triggers. However I have had this for a year or more and have never had any real issues. I have had every check going I think and found nothing. However I will point out that i suffer IBS, most anxiety sufferers do, and I have been advised that this pain can reach as high as the rib cage.

I occasionally suffer from painful ribs. It's defiantly an anxiety symptom. It will pass!

I know the feeling. Unlike the most rational explanation, I aways tend to go for the "there's something wrong with my heart" option. It could be many things: anxiety, bloating, back issues, bad posture, ... Anxiety can give really weird symptoms, so it's definitely possible! ;)
