New user - with health anxiety

Hi all. I joined this site today. I used to suffer badly from health anxiety and thought that I was over the worst of it but since booking my smear test last week it has come back with a vengeance. I am hoping that this forum will be able to help me. It is a great comfort to find a place where I know I am not on my own.

Aside from that I live in Denmark but come from England. I am married to a lovely Dane and I work in communications, mainly dealing with events. My job is very busy which is good for the weekdays as it means I have less time to focus on my various "illnesses".
