Hello folks,
Thought this was probably worthy of a whole thread.
After all, there's plenty out there - Stephen Fry's bipolar springs immediately to mind - and today mental health issues have been the main story on the sports bulletins all day following Jonathan Trott's brave decision to leave the Ashes tour today.
I have written a blog post dedicated to Trotty which features a reflection on a personally low moment for me in Dublin and how I have subsequently got on the road to recovery: http://theintrepidreporter.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/the-ashes-201314-trott-takes-first-step.html
There's also a link in there to the autobiography of Marcus Trescothick, a mighty fine opening batman who has written extensively about his issues in his book, Coming Back to Me.
Thanks to anyone who reads my blog and/or contributes names to the thread,
Peter:)
