...and it's really crappy parking there.

I am very bad at parking as it is but when I'm on my own it isn't as bad, but with someone else in the car, I'm anxious of the pressure.

My anxiety is really high tonight. Stupid I know.

Any words of help or encouragement are welcome.

I know how you feel as I suffer from the same thing. I don't know how to get over this as I still am anxious when someone is in the passenger seat.

Such a nightmare eh?? I'm so worried about it. I keep saying no to her for lifts and I can't avoid it forever.
I can't keep making excuses.

Hi GirlAfraid,

Does your friend know about your anxiety? And about the specifics of your anxiety in this situation? It might help if they do as the problem would be able to be tackled together - or at least s/he would not put pressure on you as you park.

Also, I know we're against Dr.Google searches but I find that Google maps can be useful when driving somewhere where you are not sure. I'm sure you can do it - indeed, face the fear and do it anyway. Keep us posted.

Thanks,
Peter
