This may seem like a mad question but here goes........
Have any of you kept guinea pigs or hamsters etc during pregnancy. I ask because I am trying for another baby ( my first was born with disabilities after I caught an infection when pregnant with him) and I was just browsing a pregnancy forum as you do and there were quite a few posts related to guinea pigs and hamsters that they can carry a potentially lethal virus that can cause disabilities in a fetus.
I am trying to refrain from googling as quite honestly the list of pregnancy do's and dont's is just getting longer.
So I thought I'd get answers from people with experience on here.
Anyone had a healthy pregnancy whilst keeping pets like this.xxxxxxxxx
