I am a year long Diazepam user down to 9mg daily prescrided after depression/anxiety during which I also became addicted to codeine (eventually extracted from pills to a level of 300mg daily).
I have ceased use of antidepressants and propanol a few months back as I knew I was now servicing addictions and not depressed - I had completed a CBT period.
I recently completed a tapering from codeiene after being see by an addiction specialist.
The final medication I need to get off is the Diazepam. I was considering a taper with r agreement but would consider a cold turkey if I knew what to expect in symptom severity and lenght.
Sick of the pills. I know I am better equipped to deal with future anxiety and depression but became a slave to pills ehile working this through.

I've added more specific questions on coming off diazepam in that section (can't link to it) with a fuller history. If anyone has experience or advice to offer. Thanks.
