An interesting thing my new therapist told me... Which I think I may have heard years ago and never took much notice but I now find this really reassuring...
The mind is so powerful, it can trick us into thinking we have pain. Apparently, sometimes when people have a limb amputated, they continue to feel pain in that limb, even though IT ISN'T THERE ANYMORE!
[Wow!] I think this is really good to know, and I have noticed since joining this site that when I feel a bit of anxiety coming on, I start to get pains in my most worried about area!!!
Hope this helps a few people feel a bit better about stuff.:D
