I've read the satanic bible which was an interesting read. It wasn't as bad as christians make it out to be but I was put off by some of the destruction rituals , not that I'd use them , that was a bit too much for me. However , the whole idea of being your own god and just living life in this moment without any guilt really appeals to me as that's how I am , naturally. I'm not going to lie though there were times when reading it when I felt hopeless , despair and depression which really made me want to pray and pick up my bible. I would love to be a christian but the rules are too scrict for me but I'd also love to be a satanist but not having no prays leaves me with no comfort. So what do I do ? Because I'd love to just not believe anything but my mind won't allow the subject to rest
