Irregular heartbeat

I went out drinking on Friday for the first time in months. I had a terrible hangover yesterday and I felt anxious and had one minor panic attack. Today I just feel anxious. I checked my heart rate yesterday and it felt irregular. Today it feels the same and I'm getting slight chest pains and headaches. Should I make an appointment with my doctor? Surely one night of drinking won't have damaged my heart?

No. Just refrain from doing so in the future and you'll save yourself from a weekend of angst. Hope you feel better soon.

Its a shame isn't it that you can't enjoy a couple of drinks without the anxiety the next day. I'm the same. I can only have two drinks before I feel dire the next day
