side/back pain

I keep getting this pain that lasts a few hours then goes away. It starts just under my left rib and then goes across my back and under my right rib. It feels like a cramp but more intense. Wondering if this is a pulled muscle or something more serious. Help please!!!!

most likely a pulled muscle. did you do anything strenous ?

This sounds similar to what I'm experiencing but sometimes mine goes up my sides under my armpits too. Sometimes its just on the left under my shoulder blade :/
