Hello there,

I was upstairs a while ago and noticed in the mirror that the whites of my eyes (or "sclerae", i believe) on the inside (by which i mean, on the side of the pupil nearest my nose) had a distinctly bluish tinge, almost as if they'd been bruised. I thought that it was odd, but I thought maybe it's just that I'm tired, or perhaps it was caused by my rubbing my eyes. I had a quick google in the hope of confirming this but it doesn't look like it. As, it seems, with most symptoms, it could mean something really bad, it could mean something relatively simple like anaemia. I'm gonna try and get an appointment with the doctor as soon as I can, but I wondered if anyone had any comforting words before I try and get a good night's sleep with that in the back of my mind?

Ta!!

I believe it can be a symptom of anaemia and also some meds can affect it too. I don't think its anything serious but yes, check it out with your doctor to give you some peace of mind.

I still Believe X
