Sore stomach - Cold Shiver

Does anyone know why getting cold shivers can trigger a very sore stomach which involves a trip to the toilet? It could just be me, but when I get a cold kinda shiver I get a very sore gut and have to run to the loo.

Other way around--you're getting the cold shiver because of what's happening in your guts. Your skin just knows it before the rest of you does.
