Cold meat - expiration date

Bought some cold meat from the deli counter at tesco on saturday.
Want to put in my sandwich today but use by date was monday.
Its sealed up in one of those plastic bag thiings and has been in the fridge since saturday.

Is it safe to eat today 2 days later and 4 days after purchase?
