Hi everyone,

I have a very strange one. I have been worrying about my heart. Last night I took a diazapam to get a good night sleep and woke up about 4 to go get a drink. I remember waking up earlier and just rolling over. But then when I did wake up the second time I had this odd feeling that I had heart issues or something the first time although I can not remember for love nor money. Maybe it was a dream or the tablets playing tricks. I actually remember waking up the first time and am sure I had no issues. I would usually know but worried I forgot because of Diazapam. This sounds stupid?

It doesnt sound stupid at all, it sounds like you need to take some really determined steps to move your focus away from physical symptoms and onto anxiety.

Yep, I really need to. I called the CBT team yesterday and have to wait 3 months. I may go private but dont know how much it is and dont really want to get my wife involved as we have joint everything including money.

Rather than waiting that long I'd suggest going private.

Look around for the best price and set up the sessions at a rate that you can afford them. So for example one session every 2 or 3 weeks is much more affordable than every week.

There are free CBT courses online. I use one of them and it works quite well.
