Coming off ?

Doctor has decided to change me to citalipram so am slowly coming off this med , keep getting nausea and flu like symptoms , is this normal ? Was on 225 but reduced to 150 for 2 weeks then 75 but just feel shit , has anyone else gone through this ?

Yep, just been through it.
It isnt nice tbh, lightheaded, flu like symptoms,feeling sick, hot flushes, shakes, brain zaps,
night sweats, headaches the list goes on.
I stopped taking Ven 4 weeks ago and still feel like crap, any reduction in the med will cause the above SE's or some of them im afraid!!

How long were you on it and are you taking anything else ?

I was on it around 14 months i think, i was taking Diazpam when needed aswell.
Sometimes i would feel numb/flat/low for weeks, i can totally understand what your going through. Have a look at my personal thread if you have abit of time to read through it.

Dropped another dose today and feel rough , is it all worth it ?

If you stop cold turkey it will be a lot worse!
So I guess you just need to get through it, think positive!
I know that's hard, when I was coming off and felt ill, I just kept telling myself
that this is nothing compared to what I went through and felt in the beginning!
