Hi,
I've just been prescribed penicillin v for tonsilitis and URTI. I hate taking tablets generally as I panic about side effects and seem quite sensitive to them.
What side effects has everyone had from this particular antibiotic?
I feel shaky with poor concentration and twitchy if that makes sense which brings out my fear of having a seizure brilliantly. I read somewhere online that a known side effect is sudden fainting (think it was quite rare) but still worried me.
I'm aware that some of how I am feeling is down to the initial illness rather than antibiotics but would still appreciate some reassurance/response from others. Thank you x
