A week ago I lost my iPhone.
On my iPad however I use a phone app- which uses the same mobile number as my phone...

Just phoned insurance and my claim was denied as I've left the claim to long-
My contract runs out in a month anyway so was going to get new phone and on a different network.
Why am I so anxious over this :(
Obviously my sim can still be used as I use my phone on my iPad to on tugo. So worried someone can get hold of the iPad :/
What happens at the end of a phone contract does it just cancel!?

So trying to keep busy but not much to do:
Today:
Food shopping
Tomorrow : Xmas shopping
Sunday: nans house
Monday: nothing to do
Tuesday: babysitting
Xmas day : family day

Don't want to block my SIM card as then can't use my phone on iPad as that uses my number,

Hello,

You can phone the network provider that you have lost your phone. They will cancel the sim card, and send you a new one with the same number active. I have done this a couple of times. Its worth calling your provider and talking through your options.
When your contract runs out it becomes a rolling contract until you sign a new one by getting a new phone or new tariff. Good Luck
