View Full Version : "Static-like" sound in one ear

This has been an issue for a little while now (over a year):

Anytime I'm exposed to a loud noise (this could be music, when you're inside a car and the exhaust is loud, etc.) - I get a static type of noise in my left ear. It almost sounds like a crackling sound once the noise goes above a certain decibel.

Is there something that can be done about this? Should I have a doctor check this? I don't want to end up permanently damaging anything inside the ear.

And yes, I avoid these noises as often as possible.

Thanks for your time.

Go to an ent.. its got something to do with ear wax, or fluid in your ears or ear drum..Nothing serious but if it bugs u have them take care of it.Mine does that all the time ..crackels pops and the worse..hearing my heartbeat constantly like I have a stethoscope on .. but nah.. nothing to worry about but an ent can take care of it . maybe a gp..its nothing thats fatal just a little cleaning I would imagine..
