Been suffering with anxiety and panic for 9 months now and tried a few meds with no affect , have now been changed to cit 20 mg but find myself loosing faith in medication and guess I just need some support and reassurance to get me through , everyone is telling me it does get better but just can't see it ;(

I had something like a phobia type of anxiety, took 10mg and it seemed to improve my situation. But eventually ended on 20mg citalopram. That was what I was on for 3 years. Side efffects were about 10lb weight gain and maybe some sleepyness.

If it is going to help, the 20mg should do it. If not, see doctor again.

I have lost weight at moment as not really eating and just feel scared all the time and worried I'll never get there :( it's been a tough 9 months for me and my family , I'm 35 and married with 3 children , Christmas should be the best time but not this year
