Just something that crossed my mind, but it's hard to find an answer on Google..! Last year around this time, I got hit with a multitude of stressful occasions. Today, I'm still anxious and stressed but not as bad as back then. I was wondering if it's still possible to feel the effects of stress from such a long time ago, maybe because I've remain stressed to one extent or another throughout the year? Might explain why my anxiety has been tough to shake :p

The simple answer is Yes......................your brain now "remembers" the fact that it was "anxious" so that any stressors which come along in your life will activate your anxiety....and so the cycle begins:)...breaking the circle by recognising the stressors in your life as they come along is the key:)
