Females - citalopram

Does anyone else find that they have excruating cramps while on their period when on citalopram?!?!

Mine are terrible. They start a week before and last throughout my whole period, then about a week after too.

Does anyone else get this?!

Nope didn't find the pain any worse just got more anxious i guess due to the hormones at that time.

I found I've been more tired and emotional. I expect it's all to do with the balance of hormones and chemicals, like Cheshirecatqee says, so the effects are probably slightly different for everyone! And tension from anxiety and stress, of course, which could be adding to the cramps...
