Pressure in middle of chest. Constant burping

Hey so lately I've being getting tight pressure feeling in my chest. Feels like stuck air, I've been burping a lot and my rational brain tells me it's just be swallowing air somehow. But it's hard to convince myself that cause it's so close to my heart. The feeling causes palpitations at times, just feels like a stuck burp almost. No pain, just super uncomfortable and distressing.


Does anyone else get this?

well sometimes just before i burp i get an heart palp. very rare but scary. i think i have had that what you,ve explained. have you tried rennies,andrews,fizzy pop

Anxiety often produces more acid. Sounds like heartburn, palps can happen with that with me too.

That sounds exactly like indigestion. The burps are caused by the reaction of acid in your stomach producing gas. You have a bit too much acid swilling around in there! Try an antacid and if the acid continues to bother you, the GP can offer proton-pump inhibitors to reduce the amount of acid you produce.
