Hi guys
I am so glad I have found you all and dont believe in my head that I am going mad.
I suffer from awlful panic attacks which wake me from my sleep and have me running in the garden try to breath and take control - i can honestly say i live in fear of these attacks.
Any help and advise welcome.
Just come off 3 years off antidepressants which were origionally prescirbed to control them - yes it worked - but I dont want to be dependant on them ( plus 3 stone in weight gain not good)
trying the calms night tabs....so .so....
any sugestions?
Thanks

Almost all my attacks start after having been asleep. Suddenly waking up, even if it is to go to the toilet, can start off an attack. Not all that great when your boyfriend works nights, and he comes home at 6.30 in the morning when you're still asleep.... I've also had a few all nighters, staying up because of panic attack.

But, I've just had two nights where I slept like a baby and woke up feeling fine, so I try to keep that in mind tonight.

Good luck!

Like I said before - so glad to have found this site!
last night had a kind of mini attack - i called it mini as I managed to get a grip - really tried to breath slowely and tell myself that i was not going to allow this to esculate to a full blown attack.
Pamic attacks are evil - I am at the stage now where I dread 5.00pm and finishing work, my theory... 5.00pm + home time= eventually going to bed!
I find myself religously taking 'calms night' and dreading what lays ahead.
Tonight I am going to have a relaxing bath and read.
Hope you all have a good night x thank you x
