Hi everyone,

My name is Angela, I'm 34 years old and live in East Yorkshire with my husband and 7 year old daughter.

I fell pregnant while using the coil and after a complicated 10 weeks I lost the baby. This all happened 3 weeks before I was due to marry.

Shortly after he wedding I started suffering from anxiety and panic attacks. I have developed a phobia of death and what happens after we die. It has occupied my every thought for weeks and after 2 visits to the doctor I have been prescribed Citalopram .
I have been taking the for a week and finding it pretty rough at he moment.

I have been in the chatroom a couple of times and have read some of the messages on the forum and find it comforting to know I'm not alone.

Look forward to meeting you all.

Love Angela xxx

Hi
I am so sorry to hear of your loss and the following rough ride you have had.
I went to my doc 10 weeks ago (approx) with very similar to what you were saying. I had become anxious, panicky and totally pre occupied with death, mainly of my own and my nearest and dearest.
I was also prescribed citalopram, 10 to start with increasing to 20 and 30. I believe it is normal to have doses increased.
I am still anxious, but I am glad to say, the pre occupation with death has subsided somewhat.
Pleased to meet you too.

Hello Angela
So sorry to hear about your loss.
This site is a wonderful safe place to talk things through where people always listen.
I have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD). Your thoughts seem like a pretty normal reaction to the trauma you have been through. You could check out one of these specific websites, as i find their tips really helpful with day to day stuff.
Take care
