Meditation works for some people.
you can find mediation for beginners videos on youtube
Personally even though your not having panic attacks then CBT4PANIC is the way to go it really helped me and actually quite a good read.
There a section on dizziness and why anxiety causers it.
Maybe even just reading it will help you see it in a different light?
You can downloading it free here on PNM.
Also have you asked your GP for counselling maybe talking to someone about it will help.

Did you ever look into TMJ as a source of your dizziness, or have a look for VRT to help with it?

I've treated my anxiety without meds, basically learned as much as I could about anxiety and how to combat it. I use CBT, counselling, stress management, exercise, diet and meditation/relaxation - basically a lot of lifestyle measures that eventually helped me to feel better.

the right side of my jaw clicks all the time and is sometimes locked in the morning due to clenching bt i can unlock it no problem. i dont have any pain with it but my ear feels full on that side bt only recently. my dentist said she doesnt think it would cause vertigo and offered a mouth guard but said she didnt think it would do much good so i didnt get it. im going for a physio assessment on 10th january which im nervous about i dnt know what to expect. was dizziness your anxiety symptom? x

B12'is seriously amazing, get the highest strength and after a week of that you will be amazed how much it helps, and if you can, try going outside and just smell leaves and touch naturalthings, all very hippy like but it helped me cure 2 years of depression! When you feel more natural your mind almost goes back to default settings it's bizzare :), also dogs (sheepdog) have really helped me in the past with anything anxiety or depression related. You could try qi cultivation exercises. Good luck!

CBT and natural remedies.

I'm not cured in the slightest but I've come leaps and bounds. The CBT helped me to change the way I think, see the anxiety differently and tackle situations differently, i.e. instead of thinking 'I can't do this' I think 'Let's give this a shot'

I used Kalms to help nip the anxiety in the bud, although I fear it's starting to become a placebo and safety behaviour.

You need to see a TMJ specialist, not a regular dentist. My TMJ is directly related to the vertigo I experience, and you'll find that dizziness is listed as one of the more common symptoms. In me it seems to trigger chronic migraine symptoms that include vertigo.

My anxiety does not cause my dizziness, but stress is a big trigger since it can make my jaw muscles tighter.

Is the physio a VRT specialist?
