Hi, im new to this site but have been reading a lot of stories and i can really relate to them. I started having panic attacks in october of this year, i had previously been admitted to hospital with a suspected heart attack which i had an angiogram, the results were that i hadnt had an attack and my heart was fine but i continued with back and chest pain and also flushes of pain up and down my arms. I eventually was told that the chest pain and pain in my throat (felt like i was being strangled) was a symptom of anxiety, i was prescribed oxycodone and pregabalin which the latter has caused me to gain weight which i am stressing about, the pain in my back and spine they think is muscular or skeletal????? still waiting for tests.... I cant take tramodol as i ended up having palpitations which resulted in me having a panic attack.... Does anyone know of any other medication that doesnt cause weight gain.... Thanks... :):)
