Throat infection

I have a throat infection on anti biotics since fri I'm all bunged up aswell and now have blood in my snot why is this

I've had tonsillitis twice in the past six weeks and it really sucks. The blood is probably from blowing your nose a lot or from your sinuses being very inflamed. I know all infections add different, but with tonsillitis I usually start to feel better on day four and much much better by day 5. I don't take antibiotics for it either as mine is normally viral.

I have a virus and I also have blood in my mucus. There is a ton of blood vessels in the nose they often break especially if you are blowing your nose a lot.
