View Full Version : I can't seem to get a full breathe.... agh

Does anyone else get this?
I've had it for 4 days now normally just at night time but now today I have it during the day.
If I'm busy I forget and can breathe fine, but otherwise I"m taking deep breathes all the time and yawning to try and take in a deep breath.
I constantly feel like I can't and I feel breathless!

I've been reading about it being related to the heart but I had this once before many years ago now when I first suffered anxiety but never this long this has been 4 days!

As soon as I start thinking about my breath I feel as though I need to take a deep breath or yawn and as soon as i do I can't!

IT's so frustrating.... anyone else?

Tanpixie, you can but you are just too aware of breathing. Just breathe in as far as you can then slowly out again, eventually you will get to breathe deeper. When you are able to, breathe in through your nose as far as you can then out through your mouth around 3 times, you may feel a bit light headed but its ok, then do this whenever you feel tense, it does help.
