Ct scan for urinary tract

Hi I suffer from HA which I try to control by taking citalapram and CBT strategies. Last week my partner had a cystoscopy as he had a urine infection. The cystoscopy was clear but showed an enlarged prostate for which he has been given medication. All blood tests are clear. I was greatly relieved that he was ok as my level of anxiety had been very high. However I've been greatly alarmed by the fact we know have a letter asking him to have a ct scan on his urinary tract. We phoned the hospital to query this and we're told by the secretary that the ct scan was protocol.
Can anyone reassure me?
