What do you think to this idea

I'm knitting scarfs and table cloths and other things and I'll be selling it. There is a rescue Manchester dogs home who I'm a dog walker for, they are always crying out for dog food and donations so with the money I get from the things I sell I'll get dog food and take it to manchester dogs home. I'll also be donating money to them. Along with blankets as they always need them too. Every little helps.

That sounds very charitable and generous of you :)

With the knitting, the problem there is that it can take a very long time to knit anything bigger than a hat and knitted items don't sell for much. So for the time, effort and wool used it's not worth it. If you have already knitted items that you want to donate then excellent.

well done, why not knit things for dogs, you could maybe even sell at the dogs home?
