upping dose weight gain, side effects Escitalopram

Hi guys

My doc has upped my dose to 20mg on Escitalopram. I have been on 10mg for around 4 months, will I have to experience a load more side effects? Also I have found that I have put on weight over a stone, am worried that a higher dose will make me expand even more??

It is quite possible you will experience the side effects again but this is by no means a cert. As for the weight, I can sympathise entirely with this, I put on a stone last time before going back on them again last week but can't say if you will put on more weight upping the dose.
