Heart pounding

Getting up from sitting my heart pounds and I'm short of breath for a few seconds. Only happens sometimes. Is this normal? Now I have dizziness and I'm feeling generally uneasy. Took a Xanax because I feel a panic coming on. It's not a death symptom is it?

Hi just want to tell you that this is my concerned to suddenly felt this things over and over again and sometimes i feel that my heart feels very tired already.heavychest, palpitations and sometimes it beats so slow. Had a stress test., 2d echo and blood test but that was 3 years ago everything is fine.
