Over active thyroid

Been suffering for a while now with what the doctor thought was depression and anxiety , had a few blood tests last year but now want me to have one for over active thyroid ? Would they not of picked that up b4 on my last test ?

depends if they tested for it, on your blood forms it should say something like tsh ft4 ft3 if they are testing thyroid or they could have tested it last time but it was still within the ranges alot of anxiety/ panic symptoms can mimic thyroid symptoms mine did big time when i was diagnosed as overactive i was battling it on meds for 2 an a half years but have now been off meds and in remission for 14 months thankfully hope you get sorted soon x
