Omg... I feel like I'm going round in circles at the moment with this anxiety...
Last night to had a pretty manic evening and my other half cracked a joke tang my heart rate would be up when lying in bed... Well I took my heart rate and thought god that's low and got him to take it to and it ended up being 52bpm!
I was convinced last night that I was going to die in my sleep.. I have woken up' and my heart rate is up again but I'm worried as to why it was so low!? I'm not over weight, don't drink or smoke and go for a short wall every day but not that much... It's really freaked me out.. And now think that could be the cause of my dizziness :( x

The fitter you are the lower your resting heart rate will be. On average resting heart rate is 60-100. Atheletes usually have a resting heart rate of 40-60. It looks like you are healthy fit person if yours is in the atheletes range :)

What's concerning me is I am not really that fit and certainly not an athlete!

No what I am trying to say is a lower resting heart rate is a good thing, no need to worry. You say you are not over weight, don't drink or smoke and take a walk every day. That puts you in a low risk category for lots of things.

Hey Fed... you do realize that a resting heart rate of 52 is perfectly normal? I don't know what Dr. Google told you but whatever it was, he's got you fooled big time!

Wish my RHR was in that range. Best I've got ever was 62. Most of the time it's 68-72. I'll get there eventually. So you have someone envying you here...be joyful.

Take no notice of google...it just means you are healthy, athlete or not!

From the NHS website
'What’s a normal heart rate?

Most adults have a resting heart rate between 60 and 100 beats per minute (bpm).
The fitter you are, the lower your resting heart rate is likely to be For example, athletes may have a resting heart rate of 40-60 bpm or lower'. '
It does not mention any problems from it being lower except to contact your gp if it is continuously below 40. However it also states that even that could be normal for some people.
