I have to have a Dobutamine stress echocardiogram. I am really scared that I will have panic attacks when my heart rate is speeded up via the dobutamine IV. I recently have had high blood pressure despite taking two meds. So there is also a fear that I'll stroke out during the test. Mostly, however, I'm afraid of feeling panicky and not being able to stop it. Has anyone had this test and what can I expect? Do you have any advice?:scared15:
