I've been on Citalopram 20mg for about 5ish years and I started to taper off it last year.
After every taper I've had the most awful side affects: headache, sweating etc.
6 weeks ago my GP put me on a 10mg tablet, plus liquid to "top up" and taper off more slowly. Currently I'm taking the tablet, plus two liquid drops, so about 15mg in total.
When I started this I had the usual sweating, hot flushes and headaches. Before these lasted only about 4 weeks, nearly 7 weeks on and I'm still struggling with it.
Does anyone haveany experience or advice on this? Could the tablet and liquid not suit me? I've started to take the meds at night, which has helped a little.
Any thoughts would be amazing.
