Hi I was wondering if anyone else might have had this..almost 2 years ago I got what looked like a small scratch under my right eye on my face it stung quite a lot but that was 2 years ago in august it doesn't. Sting hasn't got bigger its just like a bright red dot slightly raised when I press it it disapears but Im having to cover it with foundation and its been there for so long but tomorrow Im going to the drs Im worried its cancerous or that Im stuck with it for life...

I have 3 of these, one on my thumb and two on my wrist, I'm pretty sure it's harmless, I've had them for years :)

I had this as well when I went to the skin doc he said it was a broken blood vessel and he removed it. It didn't have to be removed it just bugged me so I let him take it off.

Hi you're right it was a broken capillary but NHS won't remove it as its not a risk..so I am now thinking to go to a private clinic and have it lasered off x

Good news! My skin doc always takes things off that aren't harmful he just puts on the paper that it's suspicious he is nice like that.

It sounds like a little broken capillary and if it hasn't changed in 2 years then it more than likely harmless. I had a small area treated with electrolysis a few years back for this, it worked a treat but its starting to come back again so will go for more treatment. It wasn't expensive either, only about £35 x

Pepsi,if you're going to be stuck with it for life, it's DEFINITELY not cancerous :D
