Another newbie question

Does anybody ever feel like they have swallowed a golf ball? I'm having this feeling right now like there is a mass in my throat and I'm going to keel over from my throat closing up on me?

All the time!! it's a common thing to have an 'invisible lump' in your throat! don't worry it's harmless! try and distract yourself! it will pass

I had something like this once, at its worst I had trouble breathing (well, it seemed so, at least). It was gone after a few days, though:)

Yes it even has a name "globus" many of us experience this.
