Im new here, but not new to venlafaxine...

Hi everyone, my name is Jen, I have been on Effexor and currently venlafaxine for 18years.....yes, 18years. I have tried so many times to withdraw but get really bad head busses when Im as much as a few hours past my dose time. I have tried riding these buzzes but they get so so extreme that I cant turn my head without it buzzing. Does anyone get these? and has anyone actually withdrawn from these? thanks

Yes I've recently come off Ven, it was very hard and I almost gave in.
My doctor was even at a point of recommending I go back on them, but no I rode it out.
The first 2weeks of withdrawal are not nice, but it does get better slowly.
I stopped cold turkey after reducing to 37.5mg over time.

I also stopped twice before. Back on now for 2 years as it works so well for me. Same as Gav, the first couple of weeks are difficult but it gets better if you stick at it.
