withdrawal symptoms from citalopram

I have been off citalopram for 5 weeks now, should I still have withdrawal symptoms? any advice would be great, thanks

I have started and (gradually) stopped before no real probs.

My doctor says it is not addictive.

I came off it about 4 years ago with no problems at all, I just kind of forgot about taking my tablets and all was well for about 8 months. This time though, I feel lightheaded and tired and was wondering if this is part of the withdrawal.

I came off slowly just over a year ago & it took about 2 months for me to feel OK, I had real bad head Zaps & often felt lightheaded.

I guess some people have no problems & some do but it will pass just give it time.
