Freaked

Just stretched there and got a black flickering area in my left eye that I've been getting loads lately. Had a clear ophthalmic exam and went to the regular doc but terrified there's something in my brain (had a headscan in May). I was okay today and thought maybe it was gone but now I won't be able to sleep tonight and I'm thinking I'll need to spend my birthday in a and e tomorrow. It happens more when I stretch or bend over, and I'm trying to convince myself it's sinuses or my neck problems or something. Keep getting so freaked out and thinking my face is going numb or I'm finding it difficult to talk, etc. I have no anxiety medication to take and I'm afraid to take my passionflower in case this eye thing is vascular :-/
Has anyone had anything like this? What was it or was it just nothing? It's been weeks now and every time it happens I'm just terrified.
