Hi Mark,

I'm originally from Middlesex but I went to school in the city and now live about 20 miles over the border in Cornwall. Sadly with my anxiety problems it's very difficult for me to visit now so I normally only do so when I have an appointment at the hospital and return home by train and taxi.

As for it being a lovely place, I've long thought it has tremendous potential that it has never really lived up to. It's a lot like San Francisco in the US with the hills, the bridge and the scenic foreshore -the view down Western Approach out to Drake's Island, or from North Cross down Armada Way out to the Hoe, are both magnificent. (It's not as rich as San Francisco though as, sadly, we don't have anything like Silicon Valley on our doorstep).

I'm not from Plymouth but my cousin lives there. Have you ever been to good body's? He owns the place

Hi Sam,

I'm assuming Goodbody's is the place on Mutley Plain? I haven't, but I remember it when it was a bakery (I'm going back a few years now).
