Do the drs/consultants still send a follow up letter to the patient and GP after your apt?

If you have stated that you want copies of letters sent to you and your doctor, yes. Sometimes they do send them routinely too but not always..

They send them to the doctor but not necessarily you.

At our GPs practice we have copies of the letters that are sent from Hospital consultant to the patient in some cases. Not all Gps do this.
You could ask anyway.
