Am not going to get past this

I am torturing myself again. Am so disappointed in myself and have frightened myself silly by looking on breast cancer forums.

I've had small 'blotches' that come on go on my breasts for over a year. Or, at least, it's the period of time that I've noticed them for. They look like tiny little broken veins. I've had one on my left breast since Christmas that I've been scratching until it's bleeding. Had let it heal up but there's still a thread vein underneath.

Have scratched it again this evening and have now hit the internet and have frightened myself stupid that it's inflammatory breast cancer. I can't calm myself down. I can't go down this road again. Is this me? Am I going mad? Does everybody get these?

Tell yourself that IBC is extremely rare and if you had it your breast would be swollen and so painful you would be rushing to the doctor. I do this every time I get a rash or little dot on my breast. I curse the internet we would not even know what IBC is!
